Easy steps to clip the image / photo…

Step 1. Open the image / photo from file menu> select the pen tool from tool box and select the path and add to path area + from menu bar. Then outline the image / photo with pen tool or Lasso tool. Pen tool is more accurate but magic wand tool is also used for this.





Step 2. After creating the image clipping, save the work path by double clicking on the work path or save path from path window.





Step 3. Now we can able to select the traced path (use Ctrl + Enter or right click and make selection) and possible to move somewhere with help of a move tool.





Step 4. After selecting the object go to the menu bar and select >Inverse (Shift +Ctrl + I)





Step 5. Select the background and fill the color from Edit >fill (select background color or foreground color)





Step 6. Also we can make transparent background too. When you should unlock the layer (Double click the layer on the layer pallet) and inverse the selection and finally delete the background.

After completed the editing, for the main page the client need a flash. I started to design the flash and completed it first and then completed the full website within one week. After that I sent the design to the client. He is very happy with my work and he promised me to give more work in future.

Yesterday evening I got a call from my best friend regarding some attractive custom brochure design and logo design for his new company, which will start on 15th March 2010. Image Editing: A beautiful experience

Today is a beautiful day. Early morning I check my Gmail. While checking the mails I noticed one of the mail which was sent by my best friend. The subject of the mail was really eye-catching that’s why the mail got a special attention.

I opened the mail, I was really surprised that consist a lot of beautiful snaps of him. There are nine different awesome shots which were taken by using his mobile. He mailed those snaps for editing.

First of all I saved all those snaps in desktop. In those snaps my attention to the ninth snap. So I first took that for editing. That snap is really very attractive and eye-catching but the color looks faded. So I firstly done the image coloring of that snap. Then he looks more attractive and handsome.

After completing that I took one by one of those snaps. Some undergone to photoshop restoration and retouching, some to photoshop masking, some to photo colourization and some needs image background removal.

After completing all correction of those snaps, I sent back to him. I took the copy of the best shot (ninth one) to my mobile and add that image in contact details. Now I can view that snap of my best friend while calling him or called by him.

A memorable gift

The last Friday I got a courier from my best friend. I don’t expect any gifts from anyone at that time. I eagerly opened the box and find one CD. I don’t know what it consists. I went to my room and switch on my lap top and I insert the CD and opened it.

That is a 2d and 3d animations video. That CD contains two videos. I really surprised such a wonderful gift from my sweet friend. I just watch the first video. First of all I watch the 2d animation regarding to a cartoon “Mickey mouse”. One of my favorite and that’s very beautiful to see. After that I play the second video. It’s really a different experience to me.

While watching the video, I noticed that it consist two characters. The girl character looks like me and the other one looks like my best friend. Yes, I really surprised at that moment. The two characters walking through a garden and at the middle of the garden there was an outdoor shed and a beautiful fountain which falls on the shed and was surrounded by a lake.

The lake consist a lot of rose and white lotus and lilies and some doves are drinking water from the lake and swans swimming around the lake. There was a big cake placed on the table which is placed in the outdoor shed. They together move towards the outdoor shed and cut the cake together at that moment some red colored heart shaped birthday balloons blasted showering glitters all over the place. The girl wishes happy birthday to the boy. That’s true lovely to see the video. At the end of the video the boy character telling that,” this is the dream I saw on my birthday night (Feb 9th 2010) and it is just as the symbol of our friendship.

That’s really a beautiful and memorable gift from my sweet best friend. After closing the video and opened my mail and wrote reply to him mentioning about his beautiful and creative work. Yesterday me and my friend went to watch the movie “2012”. It’s really a science fiction disaster film and we liked the movie very much. The eye-catching visual effects and 3d animations really give a beautiful perfection to the film.

Photo repair: Memories live on

Yesterday I went to my office after the long three days leave. From my native to my office, around 5hours journey. I got an Ernakulum bus at 5am. While travelling, from the next stop a little child and her mother get into the bus and they sat near to me. The little kid is so cute and very naughty, she make noise while the bus stopped on the bus stop. Her mother gave two three times warning to stop making noise. She gets down from her mother’s lapse and sits near to me. She looks what I was doing in that laptop. Then I again concentrate on checking mail. While checking I saw my cousin sister mail. She mailed her little son’s snaps to me for editing. While I open all those photos, the little Chinnu was very happy to see the little kid’s photos.

She listen what I was doing with those snaps. Then I opened each photos in photoshop and start photoshop restoration and retouching or enhancement. Image editing work related to a memorable trip

Yesterday (Feb 9th 2010) was my best friend’s birthday. We celebrate his birthday in a wonderful way. First of all we went to “Kemp fort Shiva temple”, then to Ayyappa temple in Madivala. After that we had a party at morning in forum, Bangalore. The celebration starts with cutting the birthday cake. After that breakfast, then we plan to a trip to Lal Bagh botanical garden.

We three friends with our parents get together for this exciting trip. We reach there at 8:30am and went to Lal Bagh botanical garden. The Lal bagh glasshouse looks very beautiful at the day time. Different types of roses, tulips, wax-flower, nebrane and rice-flower etc. That’s really wonderful scenery to us. We took different shots of these beautiful moments. After that we view the lake in Lal Bagh. Lake consist a lot of pink and white lotus and water lilies. He took some beautiful shots of the lake. After that we reach Kempegowda tower. We took snaps of each family.

After that we reach to the front gate of Lal Bagh at 1pm. Then we back to our flat. On the way to our flat my friend (Birthday boy) transfers all the photographs to his laptop and start editing each photo. First of all to some shots, he applies the color correction of photographs / image coloring. Rest of the photographs undergone to photo repair services / image restoration services. Before reaching the flat he edited and sorts out all the photographs in a beautiful way. We all appreciate his image editing works.
